W3IRD Performance 2009-Current Harley-Davidson Layframe Swingarm / Failsafe Package

This is a H-D OE Factory Swing Arm that is modified to let your 2009-Current H-D Touring Motorcycle sit on the ground. It is tig welded in house at the shop in Ormond Beach, FL. The rear shock mounts are laser cut 3/8" thick steel with 1/2-13 tapped bungs. No extra nuts and you use your factory shock bolts. 

It includes our Manual Layframe Failsafe that installs on the clutch side of the motorcycle to make the motorcycle a hard-tail in case of rear air ride failure. This requires a hole to be drilled into your subframe and you have to trim the strut covers on 2014-Current motorcycles. 

The swing arm is powdercoated black and has brand new OE bushings installed so it is ready for install!

This swing arm requires the use of 5" Dirty Air Layframe Shocks. This allows you to ride the bike with a true 4" of lift with another 1" of top out so the bike is not catching air when you hit bumps. The swing arm drop outs are also flush along the top so not to cause damage to the shock boot.

We offer this in two different heights. True layframe and a 3/4" layframe if you want the bike to sit on 3/4" frame pads. 

We also offer the option to make the swing arm an air tank. We will weld all the holes shut and add two 1/8-NPT ports so you can use it as an air tank for your air ride.
